Blade Runner
(Blade Runner)
Synopsis
In the beginning of the 21st century, the Tyrell Corporation has made advances in robotics leading to the creation of the Nexus series : the manufacture of beings with physical appearance identical to that of man. They are referred to as replicants. They have superior strength and agility and at least an equal intelligence. They are used as workers for dangerous jobs during the exploration of others planets. After a mutiny of a fighter team of "Nexus 6" replicants in a space colony, Réplicants have been declared illegal on earth and liable of the death penalty. Special police brigades, Blade Runner units, have received the order to destroy all intruding renegade Replicants. This is not called an execution, this is called "retirement".
